I've worked with people with various developmental and cognitive disabilities for six years. I work part time at a Rec department-full time during summer camp- and worked at - a school for people with multiple disabilities - for four years. I've worked with people from birth up to age ninety, with anything from a slight cognitive delay to complete immobility, and am comfortable with anything from helping people with toileting and personal hygiene, to talking someone with autism through social situations gone wrong. I'm patient, adaptable, always up for a challenge, and always see the best in people. I love what I do because I love the people I work with.
