Hi Everyone My name is Mariah A and I currently just graduated college. I have lots of experience working with special needs children and adults. I come from a big family of 8 and have been around children and adults my whole life. My experience with special needs has been since I was a baby. My little brother was diagnosed with a cognitive learning disorder when he was born. I also participles in best buddies in highschool which is just a program where you get pored up with a special needs kid and you meet with them once a week outside of school. On top of that I also have babysat and nannied for a young lady with Down syndrome. I have such a heart for kids and people with special needs. All of the people I've came across who have special needs have been the best people I've known. I feel like at times they are misunderstood. My brother experienced this first hand which is why I have such a passion for taking care of special needs kids and adults.
