Forgive my lack of elder experience, as this path is a new exploration for me. Caring for people is all the same in my book; it requires compassion and willingness to learn. The skills I've needed in my years of caring for children, will be equally useful in caring for your loved one. One of the most important virtues; patience, is one I've always pride myself on. Trusting the care of a loved one in someone else's hands is no easy feat. Therefore it's not a responsibility I take lightly.
