I'd describe my personality as compassionate, thoughtful, creative I like caring for people with special needs because I relate to them and I want to help them find independence and choice I'm looking for a job that has compassionate care where I can support someone in need of care and doesn't require lifting more then 10lbs I started caring for people with special needs when I was a caregiver in 2017 for a young, blind, autistic boy with developmental delays and verbal communication challenges In my spare time, I like to hike, meditate, play with my cat, and dance in an improv troupe One thing you should know about me is I bring an extra level of empathy because I'm also Neurodivergent, I can better empathize and understand special needs kids and better adapt their immediate environment to meet their needs. My skills include meeting people where they're at, adapting activities to meet their needs, providing co-created structure
