I believe that those with special needs have the biggest hearts and truly see the beauty in our day to day life. I have worked as a PCA for a young girl with cerebral palsy. I have also worked as a part-time nanny for a young boy with autism who is also non-verbal. Every time I go to work it lifts my spirit being able to help them and aid them in their play and work. Nothing is better than playing with them and watching their faces light up. I have my bachelors in Psychology with a minor in art and will be pursuing a masters in school counseling!
