About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am a recent graduate from New Hampton School. I will be attending Boston University in the fall to study Environmental Analysis and Policy and am looking for a summer job until then. I am responsible and hardworking, earning a 4. 0 unweighted GPA while studying the International Baccalaureate curriculum, serving as class president for all four years, and running my school's environmental council. I have been tutoring other students since before entering high school and have become accustomed to identifying students' learning strengths and weaknesses and finding strategies that will help them better understand the content. I'm empathetic and will relate to many of the challenges your child is facing, and will have the experience of overcoming them that will aid in helping your child to do the same. I love working with kids and feeling the impact of contributing to their education!
