Hi there! My name is Ashley and I am a 26-year-old currently residing in Milan, NY. I am a very compassionate person, and I love helping people and animals in any way that I can. I graduated in 2011 from SUNY New Paltz with my Bachelor's in Secondary Education in Mathematics. Last year, I decided to take my passion for helping other to a new level, and I started a business called Sunset Hula Hoops, which is now transitioning into Hoop for a Better Tomorrow. At Hoop for a better Tomorrow, I am a certified hula hoop instructor helping to empower others to live the life of their dreams, love themselves and be fit through my adult hula hoop fitness classes and kids hoop classes and programs. I also have created a specialized after school hoop program to help teens improve their self esteem, leadership skills, confidence and many other important attributes which will ultimately allow them to be empowered to live the life of their dreams. We also help spread the hoop love through our dynamic team building program and kids/adult birthday parties. As a certified NYS & PA math teacher and hoop instructor, I have over 8 years experience working with children in the school/tutoring setting. I have over 6 years experience working with children with developmental disabilities at agencies such as Devereux, Crystal Run Village, Inc., Cardinal Hayes and Anderson School. I also have over 3 years experience watching animals.
