I have recently graduated from Eastern Kentucky University for Recreational Therapy. I have always been interested in working with special needs. I volunteered for the Special Olympics and I absolutely loved it. I immediately fell in love with special needs. I also had a nephew born with special needs and that is where my passion came from. I currently work for a city's recreation program where I work with multiple disabilities in a summer camp setting. I do feeding, toileting, and I am with the child for 8 hours a day, making sure they are involved in activities with other kids. I am very passionate about working with children and adults with special needs.
