I love special needs kids because they have such an awesome spirit about them. They are amazing kids with beautiful souls. I previously worked with special needs when I was 17. I babysat a little girl with special needs she was about 10 years old. I would also volunteer for a special needs group from my church they would have this event once a month and every special needs kid had a buddy who walked around and helped them with crafts, their food or anything they need help with. My mother was also a Paraprofessional at Mill Creek and Mountain View High School for 7 years. She worked with mild and severe children. I would hang-out with her and the kids a lot of time. They were very sweet and loved to learn.
