My son, age 29, has Prader-Willi Syndrome which comes with a host of behavior and speech challenges as well as intellectual disability. (He has since moved to a group home.) Have experience with OCD, Obstinate-Defiant Disorder, OT, PT, and speech therapy, and Muscular Dystrophy. I constantly do positive reinforcement and act enthusiastically at even the smallest triumphs. Although I am not a nurse, I have a good medical background from years of working with doctors. I do not work in households that have aggressive animals or patients. Love music, singing silly songs, play acting. I Trust your special needs person with someone who knows the day to day.
