About Ariel

Hi! My name is Ariel. I am a stay-at-home mother of 2 (4 months and 16 months). I was a companion to a retired police chief who had Alzheimers and was responsible for assisting with traveling from room-to-room, providing entertainment (he loved chatting about his experience with the police or watching western films), and being sure he did not leave the house (as per his wife's request). I also helped take care of my grandfather who had dementia. I would prepare meals, feed him, transport him, and talk to him (conversations were repetitive due to dementia). I worked 4. 5 years in mental health with schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bi-polar, personality disorders, and co-occuring disorders. This gave me experience with a variety of personalities. This included the elderly with dementia and medication management. I am available any time Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and until 2 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (I have my daughters daily until 4pm). Thank you for your time! Ariel
