Hello!! My name is Aqueelah and I am available to offer my services as a personal assistant to you and your family. I am a very caring, nurturing, responsible, and selfless person. I tend to find a lot of fulfillment in helping others, especially with accomplishing their goals. Over the last 10 years I have gained a lot of professional and life experience. I feel that my experiences make me a very well rounded person that's able to think outside of the box, efficiently, and creatively. I have been a care provider for children (ages 5 months- 13yrs) since the age of 14. I have assisted in households, ran many errands, worked for politicians, assisted in campaigns, been a personal assistant, planned events, and more, all before the age of 20. I have since been Executive Director for an organization in my college, a hospital organization, graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Biology, and began work as an administrative assistant and Sales and marketing coordinator. Studying biology in college has increased my attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills. It also increased my strong desire to see things through to completion. I enjoy challenges and thriving in challenging and high pressure situations. I love to get things done and see the results. I tend to be a do-it-yourselfer (I am quite crafty, if I do say so myself) and am constantly finding ways to accomplish tasks in efficient and cost effective ways. Some Specific Experiences include: Live in nanny to 8-year-old twin boys. I was responsible for transportation to and from camps, providing and cooking meals for them, tutoring, and overall supervision. Personal assistant for two very busy professionals. My duties include(d) travel plans, errands, paying bills, writing checks for other miscellaneous things, light household upkeep, scheduling appointments, organizing, assisting in event planning, and arranging vehicle repairs. My skills include professional administrative and clerical duties, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher), using the internet and different platforms including Chrome and Internet Explorer, Spanish, Travel Planning, Strong Written and Verbal Communication, the ability to learn new things quickly, Cooking, Light Cleaning, Completing Tasks and getting things DONE. In my free time I absolutely love to travel, cook, experience new things, eat, spend time with my family and relax. My favorite color is orange, favorite food is macaroni and cheese, and one of my favorite movies is O Brother, Where Art Thou?
