About Annelee

I have over 10 years of experience working with children, ages 0-12years, in various setting. I have an AAS in Early Childhood as well as a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. As an educator, I stray away from use of television or other devices to occupy children's time. I am sure to supply developmentally appropriate activities based on the children's interest's, encourage imaginative play, promote literacy and language, introduce STEM education, and encourage curiosity. This is all done while playing and not even realizing all of the learning that is occurring. I guide children by using positive reinforcement and teaching conflict resolution skills. I take the time to listen to their ideas and work on solving problems together. Mutual respect between myself, the parents, and the children is key to successful childcare.
