My professional background includes over 20 years of childcare experience. In addition to nannying, I worked for eight years as a co-teacher at a local Parents' Day Out preschool program. 

It has been my honor to provide loving and supportive assistance to the children of the families I have served. Balancing play with doing household tasks such as laundry and cooking is part of a well-rounded day. Spending time going for walks, making crafts, helping with homework, reading to children, going to the park, and playing games are all things I enjoy. We hired Nancy for a short term full time position to take care of our now 20 months old. Nancy goes above and beyond for our daughter and exceeds all our expectations. She has taught her to clean up her toys, vacuum, dance to different songs, building blocks, etc. They have built a daily routine together. She is always calm, punctual, and professionally. Our daughter loves her.

Nancy is very reliable and flexible. She genuinely loved my daughter and would set up various activities or new toys for her to explore. She constantly spoke to her and set boundaries for her, which we appreciated. Ultimately, we found daycare to be more conducive to our work hours and thus, had to part ways with Nancy. I am sure she will be a great asset to her next family.

Nancy has worked with our family taking care of our now 14-month son for the past six months and I would definitely recommend her for a nanny/caregiver position. We release Nancy as our family needs extra flexibility to travel periodically.  

She has always come to our home on time, cheerful and ready to engage with my son. I would describe her as loving and caring but also firm when needed. One of her best qualities is that she always remained calm and serene around my child. I was able to observe that several times, as I have been working from home, and it gave me a peace of mind knowing that my son was always in a safe and loving space. 

She is also very dependable and trustworthy. When my son and myself got sick, she had no hesitation to continue caring for my son even if that meant exposing herself.

Working from home, I interacted with Nancy the most and can tell you observing her approach has also had a positive impact on me as a parent and as a person. She will forever be a part of our family.

Nancy is a perfect example of what a full time caregiver should be! She sets the bar very high for what caregivers can be! If you want someone that is caring, educated, and willing to love your children then Nancy is exactly that person. I would have hired Nancy in a heartbeat but I realized that our family doesn't need someone full time. 

We had the pleasure of having Nancy be our sons' caregiver.  Due to unexpected circumstances, we had to part ways (my mother became available to watch our sons full-time).  However, the impression she left was tremendous.  Nancy is a hard worker who is also conscientious in handling household chores and taking care of our children. She brings a calming presence to the house and takes a special interest in the development of children.  We have noticed our older son's manners improve since she started, and she has paid careful attention to the advice relayed to us from our son's therapists.
From the time we had interviewed her, we were confident in her ability to engage our children and she did not disappoint.  If our circumstances were different, we most definitely would have kept her on for a long time.  I highly recommend Nancy to any family, it has been a real pleasure.

Nancy is a warm, engaging individual, and the depth of her knowledge and love of children was truly evident when we met with her in our interview.  Unfortunately, my family had some personal circumstances that precluded us from being able to hire her, but we would not hesitate to hire Nancy if our circumstances dictated otherwise.  She is the real deal! From the moment she walked in, she engaged my son in a positive, nurturing way. She really understands the developmental needs of children and was the only person I met who even asked the names of each person in my family and got down on his level the whole time (it's the little attentive and thoughtful things like that that make a difference). Her nature is very patient and soft. She was also very attentive to my son's safety while we spent time together. My husband even commented that he would trust our children with her 100%. I recommend Nancy to anyone who is lucky enough to hire her...she really is worth her weight in gold:)

Nancy is the kind of child care provider you would want for your children. She is the most patient, kind, gentle (yet firm) person I have met. Nancy is not only careful, but thoughtful and generous. She is more like a delightfully warm and caring family member than an employee, and always treats my children like her own. Nancy is a wonderful influence on my children and I completely trust her judgement in all matters involving my children. Our children included children with special needs and multiples. Each day, she cultivated their minds with age and developmentally appropriate activities and supported the work with the EI therapists that would service our children in our home. The therapists were ALWAYS complementing us on how wonderful Nancy was in all aspects of caring for our children, including having a predictable routine that our kids thrived on. Nancy also helped our family by using cloth diapers (and washing them!) and always has a great, "can-do" attitude. She is warm, encouraging, very communicative, and we will miss having her around next year when all of our children are at school! I HIGHLY recommend Nancy!

Nancy has great experience and is really professional.  We had a delightful conversation.  Nancy is well spoken, thoughtful, and has a great approach to caring for children.  Her enthusiasm, passion for children, and can-do spirit came through clearly throughout the interview.  Unfortunately, our scheduling needs (which are demanding) and Nancy's availability did not quite match up, and we had to pursue other candidates.  I have no doubt, though, that she will find a great family; that family will be very lucky to have her.
