Hello! I'm a gal who loves to care for others. I got my start when I was 18 caring for patients on an ambulance, and after that, the ER. I am the mom of 3 dogs, one of whom has a congenital neurological disorder that affects his hind end. I am an honest, active, fun and patient person who enjoys a challenge and loves to learn. I am a great cook and am well versed in running a home. I have a background in operational efficiency so I'm always looking to tweak or create a process to ensure equipment doesn't break, medication doesn't get missed, etc. I have experience caring for and supporting children with autism and am no stranger to managing anxiety and undesirable behaviors like aggression. I am strong and enjoy helping my friends with physical disabilities who use wheelchairs, lifts, ramps, and various other assistive devices. I've had my share of challenges and find that these things have equipped me with the empathy and compassion needed to care for the whole person, young or old.
