About Andrea

Hi, I'm Andrea! I recently moved here from South Korea, where I've lived since 2005. Over the past year and a few months, I've had the joy of living out my childhood dream of being a teacher, working with elementary and middle school students. Before teaching, I babysat and nannied for military families in both South Korea and the U. S. I completed Red Cross babysitting/child care and CPR certification courses. As a babysitter, I mainly worked during date nights, where my responsibilities included playing with the children, cooking and serving dinner, and following an established bedtime routine. As a private nanny, my responsibilities included before- and after-school care, as well as caring for children on days off from school/sick days. In a nanny share, my roles primarily involved fostering age-appropriate, screen-free play. Most days included sensory activities, outdoor play, and scheduled classes at community centers.
