I consider it an honor and a privilege to provide a service to Senior Citizens in the community. Trust me, they do more for me than I could ever do for them. Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to assist my elderly grandmother and ill father. I provided help with everyday tasks they were no longer able to complete on their own such as grocery shopping, meal planning, house cleaning, etc. Basically, the service I feel I can offer is companionship. I can surely provide assistance throughout the house but I have found that Seniors just want to have someone to talk to. Someone who isn't in their family, someone who won't judge, and someone who hasn't heard the same stories over and over again. I am there to listen, provide companionship, and help them feel like they are still a part of a community.
