About Amy

Hi! I grew up in Zionsville, IN but I am currently living near Butler's campus! This summer, I have diving practice in the early mornings to mid afternoon but in my free time I would love to help out with families in need of my assistance in order to earn money to help pay for grad school! At Miami, my focus is abnormal/psychopathology and I am very comfortable with kiddos who have special needs at different levels of functioning. I am also studying family social work to work with families and kids in the future along with a small focus in statistics and American Sign Language! I was a member of Best Buddies throughout high school and worked in the special education classrooms. I have been baby-sitting for over 5 years and I love working with children of all ages and can provide tutoring services as well. Throughout my experiences, I have enjoyed the opportunity of learning to understand kiddos and getting see things from their imaginative point of views!
