About Amy
Experience: 6 yrs
I am BLS(Basic Life Support) trained including first aid. I am a long-time caregiver with experience caregiving for terminal cancer clients, bedbound/terminal MS, dementia clients, TBI clients and ASD children. I have an MS in Speech Pathology and have had extensive experience with the aging population. I transitioned into caregiving when my mother became ill with cancer and became her caregiver. As a caregiver, I enjoy bringing joy to my clients just sharing stories and also creating crafts and memory picture books, making meals of the clients choice, riding to parks, shops to walk and browse, nearby family's homes and other pleasant destinations. I love pets and people!

Amy was amazing. My 81 year old mother spent 8 weeks in rehab following a broken femur. I don't know if she would have survived there much longer and if not for Amy, we could not have brought her home. She was very attentive. She communicated regularly and well with me on status. I will forever be grateful for the care she gave my mother.
