About Amanda

I'm 35 years old and have been a professional nanny for 14 years. I graduated from Plymouth State University in 2010 with a degree in early childhood development. Since then, I have been a caretaker for 11 different families and their 15 different children ranging from 3 weeks old to 5 years old. I enjoy teaching children and watching them grow and learn. I am also certified in American Sign Language and have taught many children to sign at a young age. It has allowed the children to effectively communicate what they need and want. I take my career very seriously and maintain a certification in CPR/First Aid. My job is to make children and parents happy and that is my goal each day. I love to read, teach numbers and colors, do holiday themed arts and crafts, and I am always thinking about or researching new projects, lessons, or sensory activities for the children I care for. I am a caring loving, warm hearted, fun, active, patient, reliable, caregiver.
