My name is Kate. I'm 43 years old and live in Norwood, MA. I've been babysitting since I was 12 years old for children of all ages and needs, from infants to early teens. I've been working as a professional nanny and babysitter for over 12 years now. I have also worked for a center with children and adults with special needs. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, music, reading, horseback riding, skiing, hiking, exploring nature, crafts, swimming, movies, and cooking. I specialize in infant and toddler care, but can care for children of all ages and needs. I have a lot of experience with twins as well. I know basic sign language and teach it to all of my little ones.

I can't say enough positive things about Kate (or Katie as we call her!). We hired Katie to care for our then 12-week-old son when I was going back to work after maternity leave. I was absolutely terrified to be leaving my baby at that young age. Katie eased my fears with her knowledge, experience and her clear love of children. My son is now 4.5 months old and they have a wonderful bond. Katie is loving, easy-going, smart, organized and flexible. As an added bonus, she is knowledgeable in child development and closely tracks my son's milestones. My son was born prematurely and has had some minor developmental and health issues as a result. Katie has experience with premature infants and constantly reassures me as a new, anxious mother. Katie takes care of our whole family, from playing with our dog, to doing minor chores around the house (without us even asking) and running errands. We are so lucky to have Katie in our lives!!
