About Alia

Hello! My name is Alia. I am originally from Long Beach, CA and was raised there until I left for my undergraduate studies. My family is quite a large one with children ranging in all ages, so from a young age I was surrounded by high-energy little ones. This in combination with being the oldest of three and past babysitting experience has taught me a great deal about children, how to look after them, and appeal to their better nature. Besides my experience with children in my family, I began babysitting for a family friend s pair of twin girls at the age of 13 and continued to help other families throughout high school. I love being around children--it is so refreshing to observe a child's innocence, happiness, and outlook on life. Spending time with children to be lighthearted, enjoyable, and a nice break from the serious parts of life. In turn, I want to create happy experiences for the children I babysit because my childhood was a great one and my memories nannies were always positive. During the time I have with kids I love to do things that will actively engage them, whether that be arts & crafts, playing outside, baking, or playing with toys.
