I have a strong background with working with children with special needs. My two nephews have special needs and I use to nanny them when they were little. I worked for 1. 5+ years with a child with special needs. I have helped with speech, occupational, physical, and ABA therapies as well as early autism services. I am not highly qualified when it comes to certification but I do have a lot of experience in the field of working with children with special needs. Working with children and teenagers involves having a very patient and mild temper, which I luckily have. I hope to go back to school to get at least some certifications to better qualify myself to work with children and teenagers with special needs. I have been working as a nanny since I was 16, which is when I was working with my nephews.
