About Alexis

Currently, I am finishing up my last year of grad school at Springfield College, but am living at home in East Haddam. I have 8 younger brothers and sisters, so I've been surrounded by babies and children my entire life! I've watched children as young as 2 months old, to as old as 14. When I am home, I work as a care giver for adults with special needs, so I've taken many training course in regards to caring for people with special needs. I've nannied a 14-year-old boy with autism and ADHD, as well as assisted adults in their 40s and children in elementary school with mental and developmental disorders. I'm happy to help with weekend and date night care taking!

Alexis provided compassionate and structured care for our two sons when they were in 5th and 6th grade. She was responsible and reliable. She provided transportation, homework assistance and entertainment to both while working for us. Most importantly, we felt comfortable with her care of our eldest son who has autism.
