About Alene

I'm a recent Colby College graduate with a degree in Psychology and a passion for working with kids. I understand just how important the early years are in shaping a child's development, and I'm excited to be a positive, supportive part of that journey. Last summer, I worked as a full-time nanny. I handled daily routines like meal prep, nap time, and engaging outings. Over the years, I've also babysat for several families, caring for kids of various ages and personalities. I also grew up with a lot of cousins and so I'm pretty used to being around kids. I bring a mix of energy, creativity, and patience to every family I work with. Thanks to my background in sports, I've got the stamina to keep up with even the most active little ones. I love spending time outdoors, getting involved in arts and crafts, and coming up with new activities that spark learning and joy. I'm reliable, responsible, and always aim to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where kids can thrive.
