About Maria

I've worked in childcare for years, both as a nanny and teaching in early education classrooms. I've cared for infants, toddlers, and school-age kids, and I'm especially experienced with supporting families through the child's first year. Additionally I'm also experienced with sleep and potty training, and building daily routines. I've always built strong, lasting bonds with the kids and parents of every family I've worked with, and I take pride in showing up with consistency and care. I like working with kids because I'm drawn to the real meaningful connections that I believe kids are able to give in the most honest way. I'm looking for a job that could offer me a full-time (or close to it) position in childcare, at least 30 hours a week. I'm currently a full-time college student taking mostly online classes so I'm able to balance work and school. Ideally, I'd love to work with a family that understands that balance and accommodate it while I continue doing the work I care about.
