I currently help provide resources to university students in the form of mentors, internships, and employment/skills in their majors. I am in the process of starting a nonprofit to help students and residents of Jefferson County in Arkansas. I am a Department of Human Service, Division of Behavioral Health Services, System of Care Certified Wraparound Facilitator. I have 8.75 years within the Arkansas Public School. I have four years of management experience with certification issued by the Arkansas Department of Education for Child Nutrition Management, where I supervised employees. I have seven years of education within the Social and Behavioral Science field. I have and earned Master of Science in Counseling Studies from Capella University. I graduated with Academic Honors. This degree program includes opportunities to apply contemporary human behavior theory and research to the development, evaluation, and leadership of social and behavioral programs; employ strategies for critical thinking and writing in the human behavior discipline; develop approaches to providing ethnically and culturally sensitive services to individuals, groups, and organizations; and use established standards and ethics for professional behavior and service. I also have an earned my Bachelor's degree from The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. My major was General Studies with an emphasis in Sociology. I also participate in Higher Education professional development seminars from Innovative Educators Supporting Academic and Professional Growth in Higher Education. I have three years of advising experience as a Capella Student/Alumni Ambassador. I have over four years experience in computerized systems and databases.
