About Abigail

I have had many different babysitting jobs in the past, some of which were long-term commitments and others just a Saturday night out for a family friend. The ages I have cared for ranges have been anywhere from newborn to 16 years. I worked at a daycare center as a substitute and worked with all of the different age ranges (newborn to 5 years). In one long-term situation, I cared for two children, ages 10 and 7. I helped both children complete their homework, one of which had a learning disability. I made snacks and meals, drove the children to sports practices/events and play dates, and more activities depending on the day. Most recently, I was babysitting every weekend for a special needs preteen. After learning about him and his schedule, I worked with the family to create detailed plans for each day we were together. In the last few years, I have also become an aunt to three beautiful nieces. Being an aunt is the best job in the world.
