About Abbey

Hello! My name is Abbey, and I am a 23-year-old permanent substitute teacher for North Brandywine Middle School. I have worked with ages 5-18 in education, including special needs kids (and have nannied for family in the past)! I love being hands on and helping kids learn and have fun. My work background is in education, and I have a degree in studio art- something I love to use with my students and kids to help them engage with their creativity and create something new :) I am outgoing and patient, and love coming up with fun activities to do with my kids. In my personal time I love to paint, read, make jewelry, bake, and play video games with my siblings (I come from a family of four, so I embrace any size group!). Whether it's just watching a show or baking a fun treat, I can help your kids keep busy and prepare for anything they may need such as packing school lunches or making meals. I do not have my own car but have reliable transportation.
