I started working in childcare professionally at the age of 18. I've worked with children as young as six weeks and as old as 10 and around kids my entire life. I'm very creative and love doing crafts with kids. I come from a very big family so I am used to the lovable chaos that comes with it including meal preparations, laundry/housework, skill building (math, letters, numbers, writing, etc) and also how to defuse fights between siblings. Kapri has been working with us to watch our twins (1-2 y/o) during the work day, and also watches them and our older son (5 y/o) when we need additional babysitting. Kapri is loving, kind, and caring with all of our children, and has played a big part in our daughter's progress on her motor skill delay. We love all the activities, songs, reading, and outdoor time she does with our children, and they all absolutely love spending time with her. Kapri is excellent at mixing fun and learning into various activities. All of our children are over the moon when she walks in the door and are sad to say goodbye at the end of the day. She is also great at setting boundaries and teaching them crucial social and emotional skills in many situations (sharing, conflict, big feelings, etc.), and we love seeing how much comfort they find in her. Even with our older son not getting as much time with her every day, she has made a huge impression on him, and we love how much he cherishes his time with her. Kapri is warm and friendly and a joy to talk to when we see her during the day. We are very fortunate to get to work with her and we highly recommend her!
