Reading Tutor/Kindergarten-1st Grade Readiness
I have taught many young kids to start reading. The beginning sounds through sounding out words, and sight words. My own kids started reading at 2 1/2, and Harry Potter by the age of 4 for both of them. I was a former television producer in DC, and owned my own public relations firm for 10 years after that, all before having children. My kids now are in school, and I now do the work I love, being with kids. I am a preschool teacher in the mornings, and I do substitute teach in Fairfax County in the afternoons when I am available.
