TCG Enrichment Programming TCG operates 15 Out-of-School Time and Extended Learning Time programs throughout the cities of Lawrence and Methuen. TCG partners with these school districts and several individual schools to provide over 1000 students an opportunity to engage in high-quality programming through field trips, access to community non-profit partners, and more time with their school-day teachers and community. Programs operate throughout the school year and over several weeks during the summer. TCG's Enrichment Program's ultimate goal is to help schools achieve their learning outcomes and develop students into global citizens with modern skills. Programs follow the DESE 21st Century Community Learning Centers model, which focuses on improving academic and social emotional outcomes for students through hands-on, cumulative project-based learning. In addition, programs are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care to ensure the utmost safety and environmental quality. Role The Director of School Enrichment role is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and successful outcomes of three or more school site programs. Directors will manage two site coordinators per site, one academically-focused coordinator (usually an LPS teacher) and another operationally focused site coordinator, a TCG employee. Each team of coordinators oversees school-based teachers and staff who serve 90-130 students in grades K-6. Directors will also partner closely with the school's principal, administrative, and operational teams to ensure smooth program logistics that align with the school site's priorities. Baseline requirements of this role include meeting health and safety compliance conditions, grant compliance conditions, and student learning goals, using various standards-tested measurement tools. Responsibilities Supervise implementation of DESE 21st CCLC program and EEC child care operations at each assigned school site. Duties include but are not limited to: recruiting students of greatest need, recruiting and retaining high-quality staff, implementing and executing on regular, high-quality learning activities, measuring and tracking various outcome data, and building overall community with students and families and within each school site Sustain positive collaborations with school personnel and community partners to support student learning Develop outreach that supports positive parent relationships Supervise and train group leaders/teachers and site coordinators Develop and schedule high-quality Project Based Learning activities over 10-week activity session cycles (four cycles per year) Conduct weekly activity observations and give staff feedback in order to improve student and teacher outcomes Work with Program Director, staff, and parents to set goals and objectives to assure quality of service Coordinate and oversee field trips and off-site activities Assist Development office with program data analysis and annual grant-writing activities Ensure all required reporting, billing, and record keeping for each program is completed by deadlines Collaborate with DCF caseworkers and therapists, as needed Assist in maintaining an environment that supports and encourages the growth and development of children Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations Ensure the care, safety, and well-being of children in the group Participate in staff meetings, and on-going professional development Complete all required certifications, and All other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required Experience managing other adults, both directly and indirectly Must possess strong attention to detail and solid communication and problem-solving skills High level of proficiency with workplace productivity technology and tools (email, MS Office Suite, Google Drive platform, online payroll platform, etc.) Knowledge of building and adhering to program budgets Experience working with school-aged children Experience working with community-based programs Knowledge of sports/athletics, arts, music, and/or STEM programs is a plus Willingness to learn about children's growth and development.
