Who we are: Family in Grafton seeking a warm, energetic tutor for our first-grade son (age 6). He loves picture books and phonics games. Our goal is to strengthen decoding, spelling and reading comprehension before Grade 2. What you will do Prepare 120-min, hands-on ELA lessons using phonics, sight-word drills and read-aloud discussions. Send a brief email recap after each lesson. Bring all materials; we provide a quiet workspace. You are a Massachusetts-licensed teacher or experienced reading specialist (background-check ready). Wilson or Orton-Gillingham experience is a plus. Schedule: Start the week of May 5 or May 12; run through mid-July, with the option to extend into the school year.
