About the job

Rachel is a bubbly, 21-year-old, a bit shy at first but ultimately a social butterfly around her friends and loved ones. She is non speaking and uses sign and an AAC device to communicate. For this reason we are ideally looking for someone with sign competency, and a familiarity with AAC. But, ultimately as long as you are willing to learn feel free to apply. We are seeking someone who already is or is willing to become certified through CDWA, starting wage is $21. *this is a requirement* A lot of Rachel's needs are personal care related, cooking, ligh housework, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing etc. But Rachel is young, she wants to play, go out and hang with her friends. So were also looking for someone who is interested that dynamic that and has reliable transportation to drive Rachel to her activities.
