I'm looking to add a few sitters to our list of trusted caregivers to help with my 8-year-old with special needs. Prefer experience with behavioral principles or teaching ESE. High energy a must. Must know how to engage her, even though she will tell you she doesn't want to eat, play, bath etc., with the right approach she will engage in activities. We have events/activities that come up frequently that we have to say no to, because they are on a whim.
Love to meet caring, loving, energetic, women who would like to help me with my beautiful girl. She has autism, seizures, and an intellectual disability. She's really fun despite it all and very spunky. We have a pool at home (must be able to swim) and a park within walking distance and a trampoline and a slip n slid and swings etc. must be comfortable with light housework and light meal prep (I'll cook, just preparing to together), and occasionally cleaning up accidents. Thank you!
I'm open to having her go to your home sometimes if you have the appropriate family environment. For example, Monday's when I work she goes to a babysitters home and they embed her into their life with their two pre-tweens.
