We are looking for a caring nanny for 1 child with special needs, mostly for after-school hours during the week. A minimum of 30 hours a week plus evening/weekend hours available. Duties include light housekeeping, laundry and cooking/meal preparation for his needs. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands and helping us manage household. Experience with special needs, adult care a plus but not required. Our son is wheelchair bound and requires 1:1 assistance with daily living skills. Our house has lifts, ramps and accessible design but caregiver will need to transfer him to/from wheelchair, bed, shower (he weighs about 100 pounds). Besides caregiving these happy, creative kids, I need a caregiver who can transport my 9-year-old to activities, enjoys organizing and errands as part of the job, and can tutor in one, some or all of the following: art, theater, music, science, Spanish, and french.
