Part Time $17 – 17/hr Starts 04/29 Austin, TX
Part time caregivers for cool dude. Looking to hire a few helpers, Shifts are 4 hours, 2 to 3 days per week, per helper. I am disabled with a rare form of MD and have a specific routine that has kept me strong and able bodied. I use bars to help pull me over when transferring, but am looking for strong people who are comfortable carrying some weight I am 6 foot 3 and about 190 pounds. I am seeking able-bodied, strong female or male caregivers to assist with me lifting for my activities of daily living. CNA or PT or nursing students are not required for the position, but that would be very helpful. Cooking and Meal prep is a bonus. It's a part-time gig, 7 days are available 4 hours a day, Part time position. Requirements: Reliable transportation to get to me out of bed. Must be able to pass a Federal background check. Ability to commute to area and be on time. Honest, reliable, strong able bodied people who care about helping people, only need apply. Responsibilities include Bed and shower transfer, dressing assistance, transfer to standing frame, errands and minor housekeeping (sweeping, light dishes, cooking, etc.) helping me with basic correspondence via email or texting. I want to try to stay independent, but need help with these daily activities. If you think you would be a good fit or have any questions, let us know! This is a close contact work routine and we're doing our best to make sure the team does not get sick. I have been fully vaccinated since January and feel most comfortable with those who have also been vaccinated. A face mask is required for the duration of each shift.
