I am a mother, certified teacher and child care provider. I am available to help your students/pod with online or homeschooling curriculums and open to your needs/flexible schedules. I'd love to guide outdoor exploration and learning for your group as well. I rank myself as 0-2 on the Covid risk scale, including outdoor distanced socialization. Thank you for respecting my decision to vaccinate on my own timeline. I'm available between 8-3 M-Th, 8-1 Fri, preferably long term. My teaching experience is in Montessori 1-3 grades, though I have substituted in classes as young as toddlers up to fifth grade. I've also worked in AISD as a substitute. Serious inquiries only, please. Thank you for your interest.

I first met Ellie at the daycare where my son went two years ago. She has a son a couple years older than my kiddo and they both took him under their wing immediately. I've seen her in action around many children as well as one on one and she is an excellent caregiver! She allows independence to flourish as they explore but also loves to group everyone together to find the lesson in every opportunity. Her education background is in childhood education and it shows with her every interaction. I recently had another child and she helped out with him while I was getting back to work and her help was invaluable . When she is in my home, while she is very respectful of my space she also easily finds what she needs. She is very instinctual and doesn't need a lot of guidance. I would recommend Ellie highly to all who seek excellent care for their precious little ones!

I'm very laid back with lots of patience and the energy to keep your kids active, entertained, and learning! I just spent my senior year in college watching the sweetest kids (5 years old & 3-11 months)! I've been helping watch after children since I was a child, and was babysitting two sets of siblings weekly by high school. In high school, I taught children's bible classes ages 2-10 through my mom's church. I'm an artist, a reader, and I love the outdoors! I just graduated from Point Park University's Conservatory of the Performing Arts with a BA in Theatre Performances & Practices. I've always gotten along really well with kids because I believe it's so important to treat them as whole humans who have feelings, needs, & wishes, and to never talk down to them! I'm fully vaccinated & more than happy to look into getting CPR certified! I have a reliable car that will transport myself, but it doesn't have a child-safe riding situation (small two door).

Sara has been fantastic with my two kids (5 yr & 3 months). I am working from home these days but it has been HUGE having Sara a few times a week. I get so much done with ZERO interruptions when she is here. My 5 year old is always disappointed when she leaves. And Sara has been wonderful with my infant as well - proactively putting him down for naps, feeding him and keeping him engaged while he's up. When there's a moment of down time, Sara is always looking to be helpful and finding something else to do whether it be cleaning something up or organizing. We hope to continue with Sara for as long as we can!
