Adult male (age 19) with disabilities. Independent with walking, talking, dressing, eating, and toileting. Seizures are stable and controlled with medications. The position requires seizure management and precautions. Rescue medicine is onsite at all times. He needs assistance with home PT exercises, cutting food, making purchases in the community, and preparing simple meals. Speech can be inarticulate at times due to motor and cognitive delays. Reads at an age-appropriate level, yet comprehension is delayed. A kind, mild-mannered individual who is interested in sports, cars, Star Wars, Marvel, and dogs. He attends the Life Skills Program in Clarkston Community Schools from 7 a.m. - 2 PM, Monday-Friday. Also, he attends weekly Vision Therapy and plays baseball. We are seeking CLS and respite staff as a MORC/Arc of Oakland County case.
