Now Hiring: Private Learning Support Assistant or Teacher Aide Paraprofessional. Perfect for a teacher assistant who is looking for a part time summer position with a sweet and smart child! Start ASAP after Interview and Reference Check. Hours 8:00-1:00 p.m. (5 hours per day) Monday-Friday with a private preschool off Woodruff and Laurens Road. (Location will be at the preschool) Looking for Help through the first week of August. Will pay weekly based on experience. Looking for someone with prior LSA or Aide experience in a 3k/4k class with special needs experience. Main Responsibilities: Provide individualized support to help our son succeed in the 3K classroom. 1. Individualized Instruction and Support: One-on-one help: Work directly with our son, providing extra assistance with lessons, transitions, and play. 2. Positive Reinforcement and Feedback: Encourage and provide positive feedback to motivate him and build his confidence. 3. Environmental Adjustments: Reducing distractions: Help create a more focused environment by reducing distractions and noise. Movement breaks:Give frequent movement breaks to go outside, fidget during a lesson or take a sensory break. 4. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with me about his progress and any concerns. Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective strategies for him. 5. Other Support: Model positive behavior & Advocate for the child and help him to get the support they deserve.
