Looking for a part-time caregiver for our Senior family member with Deafness, Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays, Mobility Challenges, Aspergers in Portland. Ideal match will meet the requirements below. Dave was hit by a car, and although his recovery went well, he needs someone to help him get his confidence back walking outside. He used to walk 30 blocks 4 days a week. Also, he had a recent, severe hearing loss, and until we can get this diagnosed and treated, he needs to proactive communicating with a nonverbal communication board and with a notebook. Dave likes to color and do word searches. He is an extremely nice and capable guy. He's very social, and loves his programs and Parks and Rec, but he's having trouble participating there because of the above issues.
