Looking for a part-time caregiver for young male with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Staten Island. Ideal match will meet the requirements below. I am seeking a personal assistant for my son, a nonspeaking young adult with autism, to assist him with independent living skill (i. e. food preparation, exercise, laundry), recreational activities, communication, and socialization at home and in the community. Training in his communication devices (letterboard and keyboard) will be provided. Looking for someone who is patient, calm, has some experience working with the autistic population and is willing to be a companion as well. A valid driver's license and a car are desirable. College/graduate students are encouraged to apply.
