About the job

Looking for a part-time caregiver (Sat/Sun 9am-5pm, or any days of the week 6pm-10pm) for our 24-year-old Adult family member with Developmental Delays and Mobility Challenges. Spencer has a developmental delay (aka 'special needs'), and is nonverbal. Daytime activities are easy and similar to those of a 1-year-old; Spencer likes to watch Disney movies, color, play with his puzzles, eat snacks, and go on neighborhood walks. He loves to eat but needs someone else to feed him or he eats too fast. He also needs to be walked into the bathroom and sat on the toilet, with occasional diaper changes. We are looking for someone with patience for special needs adults who doesn't mind watching the same movies on repeat :) Spencer has a tracheostomy, is non-aggressive, very cooperative, and tiny little guy (about 4'7).
