About the job

I am looking for a summer aide to accompany my 5-year-old diabetic and autistic daughter to a summer day camp. The camp is from 9am-4 p.m. in Dana Point. She needs diabetes monitoring (we will provide all training--it sounds intimidating but it's not, I promise!), reminders and assistance in the restroom, and help staying on track and focusing. She is a very social and happy child but just needs a little support! You will sign up through an agency who will pay $20/hr. I will pay you $7/hr extra in cash. Total payment for the two weeks will be around $1900. This is not a nursing or therapy role. No medical procedures, lifting, or behavioral intervention required.
