About the job

Seeking a caring, reliable person to support a young man with his personal care needs (Feeding, Toileting, Transferring, Changing clothes, etc) and daily activities. Lack of experience with the special needs can be easily replaced with patience, compassion and quick ability to learn. No medical training needed. This part time position is mostly in the evening when the schedule is quieter. Most summer evenings entail a neighborhood walk and snack time and occasional household chore. Nonverbal, physical disabilities, Deafness, Cognitive Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Blindness/Visual Impairment. Excellent referrals required. Schedule is flexible. Optional once a month weekend support.
