Looking for a part-time caregiver for Adult with Muscular Dystrophy in Saint Louis. Ideal match will meet the requirements below. I have SMA and am wheelchair bound. I'm new to caregiving, so we are learning what I need and what would be the best fit. Typically I will need assistance only 1-3 days a week in the late morning/early afternoon to shower and get dressed, but it may vary. Occasional overnights would be ideal, as would accompanying me on a trip/vacation. About the care needs: Transferring me is most important need, being able to lift approximately 115lbs is needed. Being carefree and having a silly, fun personality would be great! Services needed include: Unsure. Showering / dressing, and mobility assistance with transfers. I have a Hoyer lift, but have never used it.
