Special Needs Caregiver Needed in Waconia - either FULL or PART time We're looking for a full-time PCA for our 24-year-old, who is severely affected with autism. He's a very sweet and charming young man, but needs assistance with most aspects of daily living. We have recently learned that our son can spell, which opens up a whole new world for him! The ideal candidate will be willing to be a communication partner for him, helping to facilitate lessons and prompting for his communication program. All training will be provided. Additional job duties include: - Assistance with showering / toileting (he is toilet trained, but needs help washing hands, clothing adjustments) - Assistance with vocational activities and household chores - Assist with OT therapy goals - currently unloading dishwasher, sorting silverware, loading dishwasher
