Looking for a caregiver for our young adult family member with Muscular Dystrophy in Seattle. Tasks include Hoyer lift transfers, dressing, toileting, and bathing to be ready for fun and intellectual activities out and about. Jacob is a lively and engaged young man with a passion for music, pets, and conversation. Be ready to live life fully with him, regardless of his wheelchair and physical limitations! For example: He is a real, on air, DJ at a local radio station, and does cool events as a result. He will be your guide to all things Seattle and challenge you to think past disability as a limiting state. We are looking for a responsible but fun full-time caregiver interested in building a long term role with us; the job will qualify for health insurance after a few months.
