About the job

About who needs care: Mom is cognitively intact but needs help with Activities of Daily Living based on her limited mobility. We are looking for someone who will serve her dinner, help her into her pajamas, and complete light tasks around the house, possibly from 5 -9 or from 6 - 10 p.m. About the care needs: Mom has hearing deficits and will need a caregiver who can speak loudly, clearly, and slowly enough for her to understand. The ideal person is also patient not because mom is difficult but because she moves slowly and likes to do as much as she can for herself. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
