About the job

We need companion care to keep my stepfather company in Southampton. He is physically healthy but his dementia can make some simple things challenging for him. He likes to be independent but can need help on days when he gets confused. He is happiest when someone is in the house with him to watch tv or talk. He is a happy guy who is rarely in a bad mood. He power walks every day faster than most people half his age. We are looking for work regularly M -TH from 8 or 9 until 1 or 2 p.m. You should be able to fill in occasionally in the evening or on a weekend. Your flexibility is appreciated. As this is strictly a companion job, we are not looking to pay more than $15-$20 an hour. Payment is through a payroll company.
